The invention discloses a pure inorganic fireproof vitrified micro-bead thermal-insulating mortar. The surface of a vitrified micro-bead is coated with a layer of molten-state polystyrene resin, so that a high polymer resin layer with reinforcing and hydrophobic properties is formed, in such a way, surface defects of the vitrified micro-bead caused by various reasons are closed, and the adsorption and absorption of the vitrified micro-bead to water are prevented, thereby reducing the water absorption; and a layer of modified ceramic fiber powder also covers the micro-bead, and then other effective additives cover the modified ceramic fiber powder, so that the breakage rate of the vitrified micro-bead caused by compression and collision in doping process is significantly reduced, and the excellent properties of the vitrified micro-bead are improved; and the prepared thermal-insulating mortar is applicable to the masonry and plastering construction of interior and exterior walls, has excellent fireproof and thermal-insulating properties, and is easily available in raw materials, low in cost and long in service life.
