The invention discloses a phosphogypsum-based foam-like structure building material and a preparation method thereof. The phosphogypsum-based foam-like structure building material comprises the following raw materials by weight part: 300-800 parts of phosphogypsum, 150-600 parts of electrolytic yellow phosphorus slag and 10-100 parts of quicklime. The preparation method comprises the following steps: burdening, aging, moulding, performing autoclaved curing on a phosphogypsum base material, drying, and spraying to obtain the finished product. The phosphogypsum-based foam-like structure building material has the characteristics of simple construction process, good waterproof flame resistance, high compressive strength, high flexural intensity and strong weatherability, has good decorative effect as an interior decoration building material, consumes a lot of phosphogypsum, reduces natural stone exploitation, and has important meaning for environment protection and continuous development.
