The invention discloses a firing method of Nixing pottery. The firing method comprises following steps: dried greenware is delivered into a kiln, the temperature in the kiln is increased from room temperature to 400-500 DEG C, and thermal insulation is carried out for 10 to 15min; the temperature in the kiln is increased from 400-500 DEG C to 1140-1160 DEG C continuously, and heating is stopped after 5 to 10min of thermal insulation; a furnace transmutation material is added at a ratio of 0.1 to 0.3kg/m3 based on kiln space, air holes are sealed in 5 to 10s, and obtained finished products are taken out from the kiln after cooling. The firing method is capable of avoiding generation of rough and dark oxidation layers on the greenware effectively, and excellent smoothness and glossiness are achieved via firing without polishing. Adding amount of the furnace transmutation material in the firing method is far lower than that of the furnace transmutation material in the prior art; furnace transmutation effect is excellent; smoke absorption and blackening of the surface of the freenware can be avoided; and production cost can be reduced at the same time.
