The invention provides a method for firing black bricks in a tunnel kiln. The method comprises the following steps of baking, preheating, roasting and cooling green bricks. The method is characterized by further comprising a heat preserving step under airtight and anoxic conditions after roasting. The method disclosed by the invention does not need multiple people for continuous working and one person can control the firing flow to realize continuous production; in addition, by the method, black bricks and red bricks can be produced alternately under the condition of no increase of extra investment, thereby greatly lowering the labor cost and production cost and improving the production efficiency; specifically, the cost of produced black bricks is 0.3 yuan per pieceand the quality of the produced black bricks is high.
