The invention relates to a high alumina refractory coating material and in particular relates to a corundum light refractory coating material. The high alumina refractory coating material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 30-40 parts of 3-1mm A85 light alumina aggregate, 5-15 parts of 1-0mm alumina hollow balls, 10-20 parts of 0.5-0mm light mullite, 11-21 parts of mullite powder, 4-6 parts of modified Faku soil, 5-7 parts of aluminate cement, 1-3 parts of 1-5mu m mullite whiskers, 1-3 parts of 1-5mu m titanium nitride whiskers, 3-5 parts of additives and additional alumina sol accounting for 10-18% of the total above materials by weight. The high alumina refractory coating material has good coating property and sintering property and short curing time and can be rapidly baked and used. After undergoing high-temperature thermal treatment, the coating material can be sintered together with furnace linings, has high strength and good thermal shock resistance, is not easy to crack, has good repair effects and can achieve the effect of effectively prolonging the service lives of high-temperature furnaces.
