The invention discloses a square pipe support seat for tent building. The square pipe support seat for tent building comprises a base, wherein a support post is arranged on the base; a support rod is arranged on the support post and is in vertical arrangement; a spring is arranged on the support rod in a sleeving way; the end part of the support rod is provided with a lock nut; the lock nut locks the spring; the support rod is connected with a fixing frame; and the fixing frame is provided with a sleeve groove. The square pipe support seat has the advantages that a square pipe can be inserted and connected in the position of the sleeve groove; the base achieves the fixing and supporting effect; the buffer effect can be achieved through the spring; and the pressure-resistant capability of the fixing frame can be greatly enhanced.
