The invention discloses a high-strength gypsum-based building composite material. The high-strength gypsum-based building composite material is characterized by comprising 40-60wt% of gypsum powder, 6-12wt% of silicon carbide micro powder, 0.5-1wt% of water repellent, 5-10wt% of lignin fiber, 5-10wt% of hollow glass beads, 2-5 wt% of polyvinyl alcohol, 3-8wt% of expanding agent, 5-12wt% of calcium sulfate and 3-5wt% of expanded vermiculite powder. The composite material is a high-performance, low-energy-consumption and pollution-free green building material product and accords with the national industrial policies of energetically developing circular economy and achieving the low carbon effect and environmental friendliness. According to the composite material, the formula is reasonable, the manufacturing process is simple, the material manufacturing cost is low, and the superiority is obvious. The obtained composite material has the advantages of being high in strength and low in water absorptivity and is easy to process and form.
