The invention relates to a corundum fireproof coating, in particular to a corundum lightweight and fireproof coating. The corundum fireproof coating is composed of, by weight, 30-40 parts of mullite aggregate of 2-1mm, 5-15 parts of alumina hollow ball of 1-0mm, 10-20 parts of alumina hollow ball of 0.5-0mm, 11-21 parts of mulltie powder, 4-6 parts of modified faku soil, 5-7 parts of aluminate cement, 1-3 parts of mullite of 1-5um, 1-3 parts of titanium nitride 1-5um crystal whisker, 3-5 parts of additive and aluminum sol accounting for 10-18% of total weight of the above components. The mullite fireproof coating is high in coating performance and sinterability and short in maintenance time and can be quickly put into firing and using. After going through high-temperature thermal treatment, the coating can be sintered together with furnace lining and is high in strength and thermal shock resistance, less prone to cracking, good in repairing effect and capable of effectively prolonging service life of a high-temperature furnace.
