The invention relates to a pure-suction type road sweeping vehicle. The road sweeping vehicle comprises a vehicle chassis (1) and a driving cab (2), wherein a dust collecting box (3) and a blower (4) communicated with the dust collecting box (3) are arranged on the vehicle chassis (1); a sensor (5) for detecting the stacking amount of garbage and dust in the dust collecting box (3) is arranged on the dust collecting box (3); a central processor (6) and an alarm device (7) are arranged in the driving cab (2), wherein the central processor (6) is electrically connected with the sensor (5), and the central processor (6) is electrically connected with the alarm device (7); a control device (8) for controlling the blower (4) to run or stop is electrically connected to the central processor (6). According to the pure-suction type road sweeping vehicle, whether the amount of the garbage and dust in the dust collecting box reaches a rated value or not can be judged, and when the amount of the garbage and the dust in the dust collecting box reaches the rated value, the road sweeping vehicle automatically sends out an alarm so as to enable the blower to stop working, so that the pure-suction type road sweeping vehicle can be guaranteed not to load overweight, and the sweeping efficiency of the pure-suction type road sweeping vehicle can also be guaranteed.
