According to the earthquake-proof wall, a rigidity enhancement structure is arranged between each end of anti-bending supports and a corner adjacent to the end on a square framework, wherein each rigidity enhancement structure comprises a first spring, a second spring, a first rigidity regulation plate which is fixed on a column of the corresponding corner and used for limiting the displacement of the first spring and a second rigidity regulation plate which is fixed on a beam of the corresponding corner and used for limiting the displacement of the second spring. The construction method of the earthquake-proof wall comprises the following steps that 1, the square framework is constructed, and the anti-bending supports are made; 2, the square framework and the anti-bending supports are connected. According to the earthquake-proof wall and the construction method thereof, when medium and small earthquakes occur, the existing anti-bending supports are mainly stressed and play a main energy consuming function; when a large earthquake occurs, the function of the rigidity enhancement structures is played, the structural rigidity is enhanced, and the structural response is reduced.
