A novel damping hinge comprises two rubber blankets, a spring damper, a left hinge, two fixing holes, a hinged piece, two installation holes, a connecting rod, a piston, two air cushions and a right hinge. The left hinge is connected with the right hinge through the hinged piece in a left-right mode. The two fixing holes are formed in the upper end and the lower end of the left hinge respectively. The two installation holes are formed in the upper end and the lower end of the right hinge respectively. The spring damper is located in the center of the left hinge. The piston is located in the center of the right hinge. The spring damper and the piston are connected through the connecting rod in a left-right mode. The two rubber blankets are vertically and symmetrically located at the position wherein the spring damper and the connecting rod are connected. The two air cushions are vertically and symmetrically located at the position where the piston and the connecting rod are connected. Due to the arrangement of the spring damper and the piston, the spring damper and the piston are effectively buffered during opening and closing, and damage caused by collision is slowed down.
