The invention discloses a preparation method of high-strength ceramic, which comprises the following steps: (1) preparing the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 74.8-91.5% of Al2O3, 5-16% of clay and 0.5-25.5% of additive; (2) uniformly mixing the raw materials in the step (1), adding deionized water according to the material/water mass ratio of 1:1-1:2, and carrying out ball milling for 10-50 hours; (3) baking the material obtained in the step (2) at 50-120 DEG C for 16-24 hours; (4) carrying out roll forming, cold isostatic compaction, axial compression forming or plastic forming on the material obtained in the step (3) to obtain a billet; and (5) sintering the billet obtained in the step (4) at 1200-1700 DEG C, keeping the temperature for 1-6 hours, and cooling to room temperature to obtain the alumina ceramic. The method effectively enhances the strength property of the material, and has the advantages of simple production technique and lower facility request.
