The invention relates to a vehicle bridge passing warning system. The system comprises a remote control center and multiple bridge passing limiting devices, and each bridge passing limiting device comprises a height limiting unit, a first forecasting and warning unit, a second forecasting and warning unit and a third forecasting and warning unit; each height limiting unit comprises vertical rods arranged at the two sides of a bridgehead and a cross rod arranged at the bridgehead in a crossed mode, wherein the two ends of the cross bar are fixed to the vertical rods, three T-shaped limiting rods are arranged on the cross rod side by side, and each T-shaped limiting rod is driven by a motor gear driving mechanism to move in the vertical direction of the cross rod; LED lamps are arranged at the ends, in the horizontal direction, of each T-shaped limiting rod; one of the vertical rods is provided with a control box, and a control circuit which communicates with the remote control center and the forecasting and warning units is arranged in the control box. The system is simple in structure and capable of controlling the bridge passing in a remote mode, and a great practical value is achieved.
