The invention relates to a lift type barrier gate and belongs to the technical field of channel management equipment. The lift type barrier gate comprises a left stand column, a right stand column and a gate rod, wherein the left stand column and the right stand column are fixed on the ground, the gate rod is transversely arranged between the left stand column and the right stand column and can move up and down, pulley blocks are mounted at top ends of the left stand column and the right stand column and connected with ends of the gate rod through a winding rope, and the tail end of the winding rope winds around a winding wheel to be connected with a power assembly; the winding wheel and the power assembly are arranged in the left stand column or the right stand column; the power assembly controls winding and unwinding of the winding rope to lift and lower the gate rod. Compared with the prior art, the barrier gate has the advantages as follows: 1, the structure is simple; 2, one power assembly is arranged to control lifting and lowering of the gate rod, and the power resource is saved; 3, an advertisement board and a height limiting board are added, and the additional value of the barrier gate is increased.
