The invention provides an electric power pylon detection system. The electric power pylon detection system is characterized by comprising a fixed ladder fixedly arranged on an overhead electric power pylon and further comprising a detachable ladder connected with the fixed ladder, wherein the distance between the ground and the bottom end of the fixed ladder is not smaller than 3 m, the bottom of the fixed ladder is provided with a connecting base connected to the detachable ladder, and the detachable ladder comprises a plurality of sleeving assemblies, bases and top connectors which can be detachably connected.
