The invention discloses phenolic resin coated modified vitrified microbead heat-insulating mortar. A preparation method is simple and convenient in operation. Phenolic resin in a molten state is coated on the surfaces of the vitrified microbeads, and a macromolecule resin layer having enhancing and hydrophobic characteristics is formed, so that the surface detects of the vitrified microbeads due to various reasons are avoided, adsorption and absorption of water by the vitrified microbeads are prevented, and water absorption rate is lowered; a layer of modified nylon fiber powder is covered, and then other effective auxiliaries are covered, so that breaking rate caused by pressurization and collision when the vitrified microbeads are doped is lowered remarkably, and excellent performance of the vitrified microbeads is improved. The heat-insulating mortar prepared by the method is suitable for building and plastering of interior and exterior walls, has the advantages of being free of hollowing and cracking, high in wall binding performance and excellent in heat insulating performance and has high economic and social benefit.
