The invention discloses a modified carbon nano-tube touching resin pre-coated-sand propping agent. The propping agent is formed by stirring, curing, cooling, breaking and sieving modified quartz sand and coated resin prepolymer. The invention further discloses a preparing method for the propping agent. According to the method, a carbon nano-tube with the modified surface is utilized as a modifying agent, the compound modifying technical method is adopted for modifying bismaleimide/epoxy mixed resin to prepare resin for coating, the quartz sand modified through coupling agents serves as a core type, the binding force between a coating layer and the core type is increased, and then the surface smoothness, the compressive strength, the long-term flow guide and water repellent abilities and the like of the propping agent are enhanced.
