The invention provides a device and method for positioning the center line of a wing plate of an arc-shaped structure, and belongs to the technical field of steel structure manufacturing. The device comprises a foundation plate and an angle rule. One of the edges of the foundation plate is a straight edge. Two positioning plates are arranged on the foundation plate in a spaced mode in parallel and perpendicular to the straight edge. At least one positioning piece is arranged between the two positioning plates. Each positioning piece comprises a foundation piece vertically fixed to the foundation plate and an adjusting piece movably connected to the foundation piece. The height of the adjusting pieces on the foundation pieces is adjustable. The angle rule comprises a first dividing rule and a second dividing rule perpendicular to the first dividing rule. The distances between the foundation pieces and the two positioning plates are the same and are equal to the width of the first dividing rule or the width of the second dividing rule. The device for positioning the center line of the wing plate of the arc-shaped structure is simple in structure and convenient to use. The method for positioning the center line of the wing plate of the arc-shaped structure is simple, easy to understand and easy to implement and brings convenience to production machining, and the center line can be drawn quickly on the wing plate of the arc-shaped structure by means of the method.
