The invention discloses a shielding window for a building window. The shielding window comprises a rectangular outer frame, wherein a base plate is arranged at the center of the outer frame, four tube bodies which are distributed in a cross shape on the whole are arranged between the outer frame and the base plate, four oblique connecting plates are arranged between the four vertex angles of the outer frame and the base plate, extensible rods are arranged inside the tube bodies, hole shrinkage sections capable of stretching out of the outer frame are arranged at the outer ends of the extensible rods, a cam capable of being rotated and locked is arranged at the center of the base plate, four blades which are distributed at intervals by 90 degrees are arranged on the circumference of the cam, the widths of the blades are gradually increased, the four circumferential extensible rods which are distributed at intervals by 90 degrees can be ejected outwards by the blades when the cam rotates, and extensible legs are further arranged on the outer frame. The shielding window for the building window can be mounted conveniently, and the entire shielding window is firmly installed on a window frame and cannot fall off; due to the fact that the window is provided with the shielding window, children cannot climb out of the window, and the using safety is improved.
