An operation input confirmation device is provided with: an operation input unit configured to be used for locking/unlocking of a vehicle door; an operation input sensing unit that senses the occurrence of an operation input on the operation input unit; a locking/unlocking confirmation unit that generates a locking/unlocking confirmation output indicating an execution of the locking/unlocking corresponding to the operation input; and an operation confirmation unit that generates an operation confirmation output indicating the occurrence of the operation input in response to the sensing of the occurrence of the operation input without waiting for the execution of the locking/unlocking.
