Preparation method of spherical nano silica-coated hexagonal boron nitride composite powder
The present invention relates to a preparation method of a spherical nano silica-coated hexagonal boron nitride composite powder. The method comprises: dispersing micrometer h-BN powder in an absolute ethyl alcohol and adding distilled water and ammonia water, and then adjusting the pH value to 9-12, maintaining the temperature at 30-70 DEG C, dropwise adding tetraethoxysilane, and reacting to obtain a turbid liquid; centrifuging the turbid liquid, washing by absolute ethyl alcohol, drying in vacuum at 30-120 DEG C to obtain an h-BN@SiO2 composite powder material with micron h-BN as nuclear and nano SiO2 as the shell. The silica-coated hexagonal boron nitride composite powder prepared by the method has the advantage that the coating layer is intact and dense and tightly combined with coated particles and has high bonding strength; and the powder can be add to ceramic or metal matrix to improve the mechanical performance of material, without reducing the friction properties of the material.
