The invention provides a mud dredging process of a grab dredger. The mud dredging process comprises a ship positioning process and a construction process, wherein in the ship positioning process, electric gyrocompass signals are imported to HYPACK software through a gyrocompass display, so that the ship position is corrected, and the ship type is normally displayed in the navigation software. According to the mud dredging process of the grab dredger, the ship attitude can be authentically displayed, and the way for successful development of the construction is paved.
