The invention provides a ceramic ball for water purification and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic ball is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 33 to 38 parts of pi stone ball, 13 to 17 parts of Ms tomalin ball, 15 to 19 parts of selenium-rich mineralization ball, 5 to 9 parts of negative potential ball, 18 to 22 parts of Muyu-Stone ball, 28 to 32 parts of medical stone ball and 2 to 4 parts of activated carbon. The pi stone ball, the Ms tomalin ball, the selenium-rich mineralization ball, the negative potential ball, the Muyu-Stone ball, the medical stone ball and the activated carbon are uniformly mixed; the mixture is milled by a ball grinder; the powder is screened by a 5,000 to 8,000 mesh-sieve; the powder is molded in a rolling way or a grouting way; the molded product is placed in a shady and cool place to be dried and is fettled; the product is fired at the high temperature of 1,250 to 1,300 DEG C in a kiln to be molded; after the product is finely modified and delivered from the kiln to be dried in shade, the ceramic ball for water purification is obtained. After being drunk by people, the water treated by the ceramic ball can reduce hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia, enhances metabolism, and is easily absorbed by a human body to discharge vivotoxin and heavy metals and enhances physique.
