Method for preparing heat-insulation heat-preservation ceramic by utilizing potassium hexatitanate whiskers
The invention relates to a method for preparing heat-insulation heat-preservation ceramic by utilizing potassium hexatitanate whiskers. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) using the potassium hexatitanate whiskers as a main raw material, performing ball milling on potassium hexatitanate whiskers, and performing surface modification treatment on the ball-milled potassium hexatitanate whiskers; 2) adding deionized water so as to compound a ceramic sizing agent, adding glass powder as a binder, regulating pH, and stirring the ceramic sizing agent and the glass powder at a high speed; 3) adding short-chain amphiphilic molecules, and stirring the short-chain amphiphilic molecules, the ceramic sizing agent and the glass powder at a low speed; 4) stirring the short-chain amphiphilic molecules, the ceramic sizing agent and the glass powder at a high speed for foaming, and when large bubbles begin to disappear, stirring the short-chain amphiphilic molecules, the ceramic sizing agent and the glass powder at a low speed so as to obtain uniform exquisite foam; and 5) performing injection molding, drying molded products, cooling the dried products to a room temperature, taking out the cooled products, and firing the taken products according to a set sintering schedule so as to obtain porous ceramic. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that a hole structure is a closed hole structure, the distribution of hole diameters is uniform, the size of the hole diameters can be adjusted and controlled, and the porosity can be adjusted and controlled; a bird-nest structure formed by mutually winding whiskers is formed on the wall of each air hole; the produced porous ceramic made from the potassium hexatitanate whiskers is low in density, small in coefficient of thermal conductivity, high in compressive strength, resistant to high temperature, and high in acid resistance and alkali resistance, so that the produced porous ceramic is suitable for the field of heat-insulating materials, fireproof materials and the like of kilns.
