The invention discloses a protective type manhole cover which comprises a cover body. The protective type manhole cover is characterized in that a penetration through hole is formed in the cover body, wherein mounting columns with different lengths are arranged on the bottom of the cover body; protective nets are fixed on the mounting columns; and spiral grooves are formed in outer surfaces of the mounting columns. The protective type manhole cover is novel in structural design, convenient to construct, good is mounting stability and worthy of being popularized and applied, and has safety protective performance.
