The invention relates to the field of grab buckets, in particular to a grab bucket with the changeable volume. The grab bucket comprises a grab bucket body and a pneumatic device. The whole grab bucket body is of a cubic structure. The grab bucket body comprises a connecting seat and two grab petals. Each grab petal comprises an upper fixed plate, an upper movable plate, a lower rotating plate and a lower movable plate. The pneumatic device comprises a lower moving cylinder, a rotating cylinder and a lower moving cylinder. Each lower rotating plate comprises a single side plate, front and back plates and a bottom plate. Each lower movable plate is of a square structure with a U-shaped section. The volume of the grab bucket can be changed along with the conditions of grabbed materials, and the problem that the grab bucket is low in efficiency or overloaded is avoided; the varieties of grabbed materials are wide, and practicability is high.
