The invention discloses a mechanical type open door time-delay floor spring comprising a housing, a piston, a link rod, a spring, a cam, a roller and a support plate; the piston, the link rod, the spring, the cam, the roller and the support plate are arranged in the housing; two ends of the link rod are respectively fixed on the piston and the support plate; the spring is sleeved outside the link rod; the cam is arranged on the support plate and drives the support plate to move; the cam is matched with the roller; the door rotates to drive the cam to rotate; when a door opening angel is between 0 and 65 degrees, a curvature of a contact point between the cam and the roller gradually enlarges, so the cam received resistance gradually increases in cam rotation; when the door is opened under uniform force, the received resistance increases, so a door opening speed is reduced so as to provide opening time-delay effect, thus preventing overly fast opening speed, the door cannot hit an interference object, and safety performance is improved.
