The invention discloses an anti-shearing upright post, which is applied to a glass curtain wall. The anti-shearing upright post comprises a plurality of upright posts and connecting structures, wherein each upright post is of a hollow structure with openings at two ends; the plurality of upright posts are arranged in the axial direction of the upright posts; the two adjacent upright posts are detachably connected through one connecting structure; each connecting structure comprises a connecting frame, a support box and a split bolt; each connecting frame is connected with the upright posts; and each split bolt penetrates through the corresponding connecting frame and the corresponding support box for connecting the two adjacent upright posts into a whole. The anti-shearing upright post has the advantages and beneficial effects that the anti-shearing upright post is provided; the stress mode of the upright posts is changed through the connecting structures; the anti-shearing capability of each upright post is improved; glass is enabled to be stably placed on a building curtain wall; and further, the conditions of personnel and property loss caused by deformation and fracture of the upright posts since the upright post cannot bear the shear stress exerted by the glass or even the glass falling are avoided.
