The invention provides a photovoltaic roof and photovoltaic roof tiles. The photovoltaic roof comprises plane tiles and the photovoltaic roof tiles, wherein the photovoltaic roof tiles are arranged in a single column mode in a roof water falling direction; waterproof structures are respectively arranged between the photovoltaic roof tiles arranged in a single column mode and the plane tiles at the left side and the right side; and accoridng to each photovoltaic roof tiles, a metal-pitch composite board serves as a substrate, and a photovoltaic is applied to the substrate. In the condition of ensuring decoration effects and use functions of the roof tiles, photovoltaic roof tiles with a large area in a single sheet matched with the plane tiles can be provided, such that enough power generation power can be acquired as long as the photovoltaic roof tiles are arranged in a single column mode in the roof water falling direction, and the use cost and the maintenance cost are reduced.
