The invention provides an environment-friendly composite for building decoration and a preparation method of the composite. The environment-friendly crack-resistant and impact-resistant composite for building decoration is characterized by comprising a base body, the base body is prepared from base body resin, modified resin, reinforced fiber, inorganic filler material, titanium dioxide, antioxidant, flame retardant and light aging resistant agent, thermoplastic polyolefin resin serves as the base body resin, and polarity thermoplastic polymers serve as the modified resin. The polarity of the base body resin is modified by means of the polarity thermoplastic polymers including but not limited to polycarbonate, polyformaldehyde, polyester, ABS and the like, the polarity of the base body resin is improved, the binding power of coating material and the base body resin is improved, the product coating processing technology is improved, the product quality of building decoration is improved, and the service life of the product is prolonged.
