The invention provides a defogging device for highways. The defogging device comprises a pipe tower, a blade and a blade driving and rotating device, wherein the blade driving and rotating device comprises a mounting seat arranged at the top of the pipe tower; a horizontal large gear and a bearing sleeve mounted in the large gear in a sleeving manner are fixedly arranged on the mounting seat; a rotating shaft is mounted in the bearing sleeve in a sleeving manner; a rotating disc is fixedly arranged on the rotating shaft; a motor base and a main motor which is mounted on the motor base and used for mounting the blade are arranged at one end of the rotating disc, a speed reducer, a vertical transmission motor fixed on the speed reducer and a pinion arranged on an output shaft of the speed reducer are correspondingly arranged at the other end, and the pinion and the large gear are in meshed connection. Multiple defogging devices are arranged at road sections with high incidence of fogs on the highways according to districts and used for controlling the wind speed of the road section areas of the highways, the blowing distance can be longer than 60 m or 120 m, the defogging device can rotate all around for omni-directional blowing, and the purpose of blowing away the fog or preventing fog formation is achieved.
