The invention discloses a preparation method of a rubber asphalt mixture. The method mainly comprises the following steps: proportionally weighing, heating matrix asphalt to 150-220 DEG C, sequentially adding an SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) modifier, scrap tire rubber powder, polyethylene wax, soap triethyl oleate, aromatic oil, p-phenylenediamine, nano zinc oxide, nano aluminum oxide and diatomite, heating to 160-250 DEG C while stirring at 90-1000 rpm for 0.2-4 hours, cooling to 140-200 DEG C while stirring at 800-2200 rpm for 0.2-4 hours, finally adding sulfur, polyphosphoric acid and rosin, and stirring at 120-330 rpm for 2-10 hours to obtain rubber asphalt; uniformly mixing stone, fly ash and steel slag in aggregate, heating to 150-240 DEG C, adding N,N'-ethylidene bis oleamide, and stirring uniformly; and adding the prepared rubber asphalt into the aggregate, and stirring uniformly to obtain the rubber asphalt mixture. The method has obvious economic and social benefits.
