The invention belongs to the technical field of building, and relates to an inserting head for a connecting piece. The technical problem that in the prior art, other accessories are needed in connection, and consequently connection is inconvenient is solved. The inserting head comprises a connecting end with an external thread and an inserting end capable of being inserted in a connecting nut. The inserting end comprises a plurality of clamp columns evenly arranged in the circumferential direction. Expansion portions are arranged at the ends of the clamp columns, and bevel bodies are arranged in the positions, on the outer edges of the expansion portions, on the expansion portions. According to the action of external force, the size of the inserting end can be adjusted, and the inserting head can be in clamping fit with the accessories and the like; and the inserting head is reasonable in structural design and convenient to use, and possibility is provided for subsequent improvement on the connecting piece.
