A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The invention discloses a railway pier open caisson mud sucker which comprises a closed cylinder and a mud sucking pipe. The mud sucking pipe is perpendicularly inserted into the closed cylinder from the top of the closed cylinder and extends to the position below the closed cylinder. The top of the closed cylinder is connected with an air inlet pipe. The railway pier open caisson mud sucker further comprises a water jetting pipe. The water jetting pipe is perpendicularly inserted into the closed cylinder from the top of the closed cylinder and extends to the position below the closed cylinder. The straight section, located in the closed cylinder, of the water jetting pipe is provided with a plurality of circles of air inlet through holes. The air inlet through holes are inclined upwards and point to the center axis of the mud sucking pipe. In this way, according to the railway pier open caisson mud sucker, the water jetting pipes are utilized for bringing high-pressure water to flush, scatter and mix mud below the closed cylinder, sucking resistance of a mud sucking head is reduced, the problem that the mud sucking pipe is blocked due to the fact that the size of mud and sand combinations is too large is solved, and the sucking flow quantity and working efficiency can be improved.
