The invention relates to a water closet, specifically to a water closet capable of automatically washing scale of a water tank. A cleaning agent storage tank is arranged on the top of the inner wall of the water tank, a fragrant cleaning agent is stored in the cleaning agent storage tank, the side wall of the storage tank is provided with a storage tank valve, two sides of the bottom of the inner wall of the water tank are provided with scale sensors formed by sensitive resistors, the scale sensors forms a loop by connecting a battery and the storage tank valve by means of a sensing circuit, when scale is generated on the inner wall, the sensitive resistors of the scale sensor stay at a disconnected state, the sensing circuit loop is disconnected, the storage tank valve is at an opening state due to the power failure, and the fragrant cleaning agent stored in the storage tank flows down to wash the inner wall of the water tank so as to prevent the increment of the scale on the inner wall of the water tank, so that the flushing effect of the water closet is improved, and the service life is prolonged.
