The invention discloses a method for energy-saving environment-friendly waterproof construction of an existing roof. The method comprises the following steps: doing preparatory work prior to roof waterproof construction; spraying anti-cracking waterproof mortar; spraying a base layer interface agent on an exposed waterproof layer; spraying a rigid foam polyurethane heat insulation layer; performing primary self-inspection and acceptance; spraying a butyl rubber waterproof coating; performing secondary self-inspection and acceptance; spraying an anti-ultraviolet waterproof coating protecting layer; and performing self-inspection and acceptance for the third time. The method has the advantages that the existing roof does not need to be dismantled during the waterproof construction, and system construction can be performed directly; the method saves energy and is environmentally friendly; and the method is good in waterproof effect and does not affect the designed load bearing mass of a building.
