The invention provides a toilet door control system based on Zigbee and fingerprint recognition. The toilet door control system comprises a controller (1), a lock execution unit (2), a door shaft rotation control unit (3), a ZigBee communication module (4), a mobile input device (5) and a memory (6), wherein the mobile input device (5) comprises a fingerprint acquisition device (51). The invention also discloses a toilet door control method based on ZigBee and fingerprint recognition. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring and storing fingerprint information of a user; responding to the input of fingerprint information of the user, performing comparison on the fingerprint information inputted by the user and the stored user fingerprint information, and if the comparison succeeds, executing an action opposite to the current state of the lock execution unit and the door shaft rotation control unit. Since each user is equipped with respective mobile input device, a toilet door can be wirelessly controlled by virtue of the mobile input device without using a hand, and the problem of cross infection can be fundamentally solved.
