The present invention discloses a thermal insulation wall tile production, and relates to the technical field of building ceramic manufacturing. The thermal insulation wall tile comprises a thermal insulation layer and a bottom layer, wherein the thermal insulation layer is prepared by mixing ceramic polishing waste residue, talc mud, paper pulp waste liquid and papermaking pool mud, and the bottom layer is prepared from high temperature sand, low temperature sand, talc mud and ceramic polishing waste residue. The method comprises: carrying out mixing screening on the raw materials of the thermal insulation layer, adding active aluminum powder and hydrochloric acid, carrying out low temperature foaming to form a thermal insulation layer blank, mixing various raw materials of the bottom layer and water, adding to a ball mill, carrying out ball milling, screening the material slurry, spraying into a powder material, aging, controlling the water content, pressing the powder material into a bottom layer blank in a dry manner, stacking the two blanks, carrying out dry pressing, conveying into a roller table kiln, and firing so as to obtain the finished product. Compared with the method in the prior art, the method of the present invention has the following characteristics that the waste ceramic polishing waste residue is completely utilized, the pollution of the waste residue on the environment is eliminated, the effective utilization rate of the resources is improved, and the produced wall tile has characteristics of light weight, high strength, good sound insulation property, and aging resistance.
