The invention relates to a water-resistant crack-resistant architectural paint which comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20-60 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 10-20 parts of polypropylene emulsion, 30-50 parts of silica sol, 15-25 parts of polyamide, 10-30 parts of quicklime, 15-20 parts of white lime, 15-25 parts of castor oil, 15-35 parts of calcium carbonate, 20-30 parts of caustic soda, 5-15 parts of defoaming agent, 5-10 parts of plasticizer and 80-100 parts of deionized water. The water-resistant crack-resistant architectural paint has the advantages of high binding force, crack resistance, higher water-resistant effect, favorable water resistance, no toxicity or harm and long service life, and can be constructed on wet or dry basal planes made from multiple materials.
