The invention relates to a steel rope and reinforcing steel bar connector. The connector is characterized in that a body comprises a steel rope and adjusting thread sleeves, the adjusting thread sleeves are provided with internal threads, and one end of each adjusting thread sleeve is provided with a necking; the two ends of the steel rope penetrate through the corresponding adjusting thread sleeves, an expansion head is arranged at the end of the steel rope in a cold extrusion or casting mode, and the expansion head is matched with the neckings to form a stress structure. The connector is connected with two reinforcing steel bar heads to be connected through the two adjusting thread sleeves respectively. The connector is reasonable in design, simple in structure, convenient to operate and suitable for reinforcing steel bar connection in small space. A two-side thread transition thread sleeve is screwed into the threads machined by a reinforcing steel bar head pier in a rough thread turning mode, then the adjusting thread sleeves are screwed, and the two reinforcing steel bar heads are in butt joint. The steel rope has the characteristic of being flexible, two reinforcing steel bars not on the same center line can be in butt joint conveniently, and connection of reinforcing steel bars which are dislocated and have included angles is facilitated, and the connector is particularly suitable for connection of reinforcing steel bar heads in the small-space environment on site.
