The invention relates to an improved lock cylinder mechanism which comprises a left lock cylinder body and a right lock cylinder body which are connected with each other through a connecting rod. An unlocking push wheel is arranged between the left lock cylinder body and the right lock cylinder body, the unlocking push wheel is in transmission connection with a left unlocking handle through a left transmission block penetrating through the unlocking push wheel, and the front end of the left transmission block forms a linkage clamping head; a right lock cylinder shaft is in linkage with a right transmission block, and a linkage clamping slot is formed in the front end of the right transmission block and matched with the linkage clamping head; sliding locking pins are arranged in the unlocking push wheel up and down in the radial direction, one ends of the sliding locking pins are connected with compressed springs, the other ends of the sliding locking pins are matched with the right transmission block, and annular slots are formed in the circumferential faces of the sliding locking pins; two locking slots are formed in the unlocking push wheel up and down in the radial direction, locking springs and locking pins are assembled in the locking slots, and the locking pins are matched with the annular slots. In this way, rotation unlocking of the unlocking push wheel can be actively limited when the lock cylinder body of one side is broken violently, and the improved lock cylinder mechanism has the advantages of being compact in structure, high in anti-theft performance, wide in application range and high in reliability.
