The invention discloses a lock for a pet cage. The lock comprises a rotary disc, a fixed bottom plate and at least two linear metal lock bars facing different directions. The periphery of the fixed bottom plate is provided with linear tracks which are used for movement of the linear metal lock bars and are not crossed. Stress ends are arranged at the inner ends of the linear metal lock bars. The periphery of the rotary disc is provided with oval holes used for movement of the stress ends of the linear metal lock bars respectively. The center of the rotary disc is used as a rotation center, the rotary disc rotates forwards and reversely, and the linear metal lock bars move back and forth in the linear tracks; meanwhile, the stress ends of the linear metal lock bars move back and forth in the oval holes. The lock for the pet cage has the advantages that of the multiple metal lock bars can linearly move at the same time as long as the rotary disc is operated to rotate, so that a door is locked or unlocked, and operation is convenient.
