The invention discloses a decoration curtain wall of an external thermal insulation wall, relates to a decoration curtain wall structure of the external thermal insulation wall of a building, and aims to solve the problems that the use amount of steel for a traditional curtain wall is great; the cost is high; and the fireproof safety of the external thermal insulation wall needs to be further improved. The decoration curtain wall is structurally characterized by comprising a protection layer of the external thermal insulation wall, a decoration plate and connection iron parts, wherein the protection layer is a prefabricated panel protection layer; the decoration plate is connected with the protection layer through the connection iron parts; and an air layer is arranged between the decoration plate and the protection layer, so that the decoration curtain wall of the external thermal insulation wall is formed. By adopting the decoration curtain wall, the fireproof performance of the energy-saving thermal insulation wall can be greatly improved; the fire loss of a building with the external thermal insulation wall can be greatly reduced; the use amount of the steel for a decoration curtain wall construction can be lowered when the decoration curtain wall is applied to the external thermal insulation wall; the construction cost is lowered; buildings and cities are beautified; and the application of the decoration curtain wall is wide.
