The permeable brick used for the encircling the tree comprises brick bodies. Each brick body comprises a surface layer, a bottom layer, an outer peripheral surface, a side peripheral surface and an inward concave arc surface, a plurality of through holes which penetrate through the surface layer and the bottom layer are formed in the brick body, flanges of which each side is provided with an opening and protruded outwards are arranged on the bottom layer along the edges of the through holes, the openings of a plurality of the flanges corresponding to a plurality of the through holes face to the center of a circle at which the arc surface is located, the side peripheral surface comprises a side surface I and a side surface II which are connected with the arc surface, and a bar-type groove and a bar-type raised bar, which can be correspondingly inserted and connected into the groove, are arranged on the side surface I and the side surface II respectively. Through the matching of the grooves and the raised bars, and the flanges, the strength of the brick used for encircling the tree as a whole is high, the connection strength of the brick and earth is high, the openings of the flanges face to the center of the circle at which the arc surfaces are located, therefore water can be gathered into the tree base through the flanges after flowing into the through holes, and the water maintaining effect is good.
