The invention discloses an arc hydraulic raising dam which comprises a rotatable dam body, a supporting rod of which the upper end is hinged with the dam body, a supporting base which is used to support the lower end of the supporting rod when the dam body is raised and supported by the supporting rod and a telescoping cylinder, wherein a positioning hole used to position the lower end of the supporting rod is disposed in the supporting base; a piston rod of the telescoping cylinder is stretched into the positioning hole of the supporting base and pushes the lower end of the supporting rod from the positioning hole; and when the dam body ascends or descends, a slide rail for slide of the lower end of the supporting rod is disposed along the motion direction of the lower end of the supporting rod, the supporting rod is pushed out from the supporting base by the telescoping cylinder, and the supporting rod is pushed out under independent control in a stable and reliable manner, so safety of the dam body is guaranteed.
