A cyclone suitable for modifying existing buildings comprises a soil stack upper connector, a soil stack lower connector, a drainage transverse branch pipe connector and internal flow guiding blades, and is characterized in that the diameter of the soil stack upper connector is the same with that of an existing upper soil stack; and the diameter of the soil stack lower connector is smaller than that of an existing lower soil stack. The cyclone can be seamlessly connected with an upstream soil stack and a downstream soil stack of an existing old building, a drainage pipeline and pipe fittings of a storey can be changed under the condition that an upper storey and a lower storey are not affected, and requirements of ground channeling on small height of a packing course are met.
