A method of producing ecological activated slag through treatment on electrolytic manganese residues in a vertical kiln factory mainly includes following steps: (1) material preparation; (2) material blending and homogenizing: performing material blending with a microcomputer to following components, by mass, 45-75% of the electrolytic manganese residues, 10-25% of stone coal, 14.7-45.0% of waste stone residue and 0.3-2.0% of an alteration agent; (3) moulding; and (4) calcination: feeding the moulded materials in the step (3) into a vertical kiln, and calcining the materials at 1000-1350 DEG C for 15-60 min to obtain the ecological activated slag. The method can be carried out through the devices in a vertical kiln production line easily. The ecological activated slag is wide in application, is high in additional value, is low in cost and is economical and environment-friendly.
