The invention relates to an environmentally friendly concrete accelerator. The environmentally friendly concrete accelerator is prepared through mixing, by weight, 10-16 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 9-15 parts of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, 3-7 parts of sodium chlorate, 10-20 parts of aluminum oxygen chamotte powder, 6-15 parts of a high efficiency water reducer, 8-12 parts of zinc sulfate, 8-15 parts of silicon powder, 6-15 parts of fly ash and 5-10 parts of aluminum oxygen chamotte powder. The concrete accelerator adopting a new formula can well adapt to cement, is prepared through using various industrial waste residues as raw materials, and has the advantages of low cost, fast setting time, high early and later stage strength, and protruding social, environmentally-friendly and social benefits.
