The iron-red fancy glazed porcelain prepared from josephinite tailing slag has a blank formula comprising josephinite tailings, clay, pyrophillite, quartz, alkalifeldspar and limestone and has a glaze formula comprising josephinite tailings, potassium feldspar, clay, quartz, iron oxide and phosphoric pentoxide. The iron-red fancy glazed porcelain comprises a lot of dispersed small liquid drops. The glaze is brown. Bean-shaped spots and blocks are distributed on the glaze and are orange. Iron oxide in the josephinite tailings is not melt at a high temperature and can individually adhere to the glaze surface in a liquid drop form, and after cooling, large red flower-shaped iron crystals are formed so that iron-red fancy glaze is formed. The waste josephinite tailings are recycled so that solid waste discharge is reduced, a porcelain clay raw ore use amount is reduced and ore product resource development is reduced.
