Novel ceramisite and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a novel ceramisite and a preparation method thereof and belongs to the field of building materials. The ceramisite is prepared from following raw materials comprising, by dry weight, 8-10% of cow dung, 30-35% of sludge and 55-62% of blast furnace slag. The preparation method includes following steps: mixing the cow dung, the sludge and the blast furnace slag powder uniformly, adding water and stirring the mixture uniformly; performing granulation to the uniformly-stirred mixture to obtain circular or ellipsoidal pellets, and placing the pellets in a cooking pot; placing the cooking pot in a constant-temperature drying box to dry the pellets at 105 +/- 5 DEG C for 2 h; preheating and roasting the pellets in a resistance furnace; and after sintering, naturally cooling the pellets in the resistance furnace to obtain the ceramisite. The ceramisite is prepared with living and industrial wastes as main raw materials. Through reasonable ratio, selection of preparation technologies and control of sintering temperature, the novel building ceramisite is prepared. The novel ceramisite is porous, is light in weight, is high in strength, has a heat preservation and thermal-insulation function, is fireproofing and anti-seismic, and is impervious and alkaline-resistant.
